![]() Another point I can think of is the just lack of advantages. It seems really greedy to just expect people to buy overpriced games, even if they are good games, and then when people from other countries pirate, They're the evil barbarians. It's weird that game pubs pull such shenanigans, Aspecially since, developing countries are great markets for games and media as a whole, like, Look at Netflix, It offered us a reasonably priced option(3 dollars per month, Amazon prime for 17 a year) and the whole country has a subscription, and they are so hooked now, that even if netfilx increases it's price, They'll still pay. I'd understood the prices if the games were delivered in Disc and you owned the copy, But now-a-days my friend who buys his games from steam still cracks the game, 'cause he as a weaker system and steam drm running makes it run like 10 frames slower, atleast in Max Payne 3(Totally recommend it, It's fun as hell). ![]() We earn in the range of 7000 USD per year. Food is like 5 dollars a day, For a family of four. The median income here is about 4500 dollars a year, 7000 if taken in a richer place. For me, Skyrim is somewhat worth it, But it doesn't feel like the right price for my country. Steam is TRYING.But Game Publishers aren't.
